Preliminary Film
Practice film 'Cherie'
In my Preliminary film the editing was bright and seemed unnatural so I learned that I must make sure the colours between shots link together seamlessly without an obvious change.
Also taking many shots of the same angle would be useful as I found that small mistakes would show up a lot more.
From my work on 'Cherie' I have learnt how to add more professional titles to moving images.
I have learnt how many different technologies can be used to get a desired effect of the film.
And have learnt how to make lights flash at desired times through set lighting so that all i would have to do is press play. With help from Greg Flynn of 'Flynn Films' I learnt to construct a jib as well as use a dolly to it's full potential. Another major part I learnt is how to record a voiceover on Logic Pro using a close mic recording.
